London City Airport has put in a planning application to increase the times it can have flights over the weekend.

Currently residents enjoy a 24 hour curfew on aircraft noise. This curfew begins at 1pm on a Saturday and 1pm on a Sunday.

But London City Airport have put in a planning application to cut this curfew begins on a Saturday evening instead, so flights happen throughout Saturday too.

Residents put up with aircraft noise all through the week. It is unfair that weekend is now going to be spoilt by aircraft noise too.
