Congratulations to Labour’s newly elected councillors for Beckton and Little Ilford. 

Returning Officer Abi Gbago announced that Blossom Young and Akhtarul Alam, both Labour, have been elected as Newham councillors for the Beckton and Little Ilford wards.

Returning Officer Abi Gbago has announced that Blossom Young of the Labour Party has been elected as a councillor for the Beckton Ward with 597 votes.

Returning Officer Abi Gbago has announced that Aktharul Alam of the Labour Party has been elected as a councillor for the Little Ilford Ward with 884 votes.

Beckton – total number of ballot papers verified is 1,552; total eligible electorate is 11,456; turnout for Beckton Ward is 13.55%.

Little Ilford – total number of ballot papers verified is 2,277; total eligible electorate is 12,443; turnout for Little Ilford Ward is 18.30%.
